SCAA Regional Program Events – New England

The Spill Control Association of America (SCAA) is inviting Future Environmental Leaders (FEL) to the Northeast Regional FEL event at NOAA’s Stellwagen Bank Marine Sanctuary in Scituate, Massachusetts on June 13th. The FEL aims to introduce early in career professionals of member companies to the association while providing value in the form of engagement, networking, and education. The goal of this event is to engage the FEL with SCAA’s industry and government partners to learn about relevant and emerging topics while networking with industry colleagues.
Following the FEL event, SCAA will be hosting a Northeast Regional Business Meeting and Engagement Mixer at the Scituate Maritime Center. Input from the SCAA Annual Meeting emphasized forums for engagement among the most significant “value” that SCAA can provide to its membership. The Northeast Regional Business Meeting will begin a series of half-day regional meetings that will occur throughout the year. While social hours have been hosted in the past, SCAA aims to provide a more formal meeting to conduct SCAA business with a social hour for networking afterwards. This is a great opportunity for Northeast area SCAA members to interact with their fellow members, learn about recent events and initiatives, and make an impact to your Association by providing feedback and recommendations.
