The FEMA Port Security Grant NOTICE OF FUNDING
OPPORTUNITY (NOFO) release date and submittal date for FY 2022
applications information is below.
- NOFO is slated to be released on Friday, May 13, 2022.
- Application period will be short… 30 days, running from Friday, May 13 to Monday, June 13, 2022.
- National priorities of Enhancing Cybersecurity and Protecting Soft Target & Crowded Places are eligible for 20% score boost from National Review Panel.
Emerging Threats will not be included as an eligible project type this year. The 6 eligible National priorities are:
- Cybersecurity
- Soft Targets/Crowded places
- Planning
- Training & Awareness
- Equipment & Capital Projects
- Exercises
This grant provides funding to state, local and private-sector partners to help protect critical port infrastructure from terrorism, enhance maritime domain awareness, improve port-wide maritime security risk management, and maintain or reestablish maritime security mitigation protocols that support port recovery and resiliency capabilities.
