The SCAA leadership held a two day planning session on May 7 and 8 at the offices of Moran Environmental Recovery LLC in Jacksonville, FL to begin the development of a formal business plan to move the Association in a direction that will increase its focus on advocacy and member value. The plan focuses on a well defined set of legislative and regulatory initiatives, such as Responder Immunity, PREP, R&D funding and expansion of the successful partnerships with the Coast Guard, NOAA and APICOM.
The plan includes resource allocation, technology support and Public Affairs support to carry out the goals of the newly created plan.
After the plan is vetted and approved by the Board of Directors it will be presented to the entire SCAA membership.
