One of the benefits derived from the method SCAA is now using to send out the revised Spill Briefs member newsletter is the ability to collect detailed statistics on how the publication is being received and used by recipients. Stats were analyzed from the inaugural issue December 30th that included the new SCAA blog and the members’ section as well as the Second issue January 16th. By comparison of the two reports, SCAA experienced an increase in readership and overall interest level. We will continue to monitor the statistics as we go forward. These statistics will allow us to improve our Spill Briefs publication by allowing us to monitor readership and understand what areas are of most interest to the readers.
